Their attempt to take advantage of the recent sci-fi craze crashed hilariously. Moonraker is Moore's worst film and it is certainly in the running for worst Bond film period. The plot is virtually exactly the same as the Spy Who Loved Me but set in space.
I don't know what they were thinking but wow, This movie sucked.
