Review of Mortal Kombat (2021) by Zisis151 — 23 Apr 2021
They did a really good job at setting up a Universe for the franchise (if that was their intention). Most characters were on point, the plot was decent and the fights were awesome. The biggest problems were the pacing and that terrible character called Cole. Not only the character is bland and boring, but the actor himself can't act... he just can't. The dialogues are also pretty cringe and looked like they were written by a 10 year old ("These guys have super human abilities" - "impossible!!!"... like, like.).
Don't go into this expecting some deep **** just close your ears and pretend you're watching an overly corny video game plot and you're gonna have a good time. Having said that, I do want a sequel. Movie has flaws, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
