Review of Most Beautiful Island (2017) by Nadjib R — 15 Nov 2017
While this one thrives on a certain dark charm that's enticing but that doesn't stop it from being flawed especially in the execution, Ana Asensio who is the lead of the film and also the director and the writer does a pretty damn good job in presenting an intense build-up that is surprisingly gripping, but there's just something lacking here and can't quite put my finger on it, the ending is thin and watered down, if I have to describe it I'd say it's indifferent but good effort all around.
