Even for those who desperately need to be spoon fed a plot or find weighted concepts pretentious this goes down as the best film of the year simply out of this simple fact: when I watched Power Rangers I left the theater going "yeah that sucked, time to find some snacks," when people leave the theater from Mother! who dislike it, they have to talk with everyone about their feelings and find themselves still thinking about it for days after.
This Mother! Is art and outside of A Ghost Story, Raw, and Good Time what have we seen with real craft this year?
