Review of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (2018) by Farah R — 09 Dec 2018
I have to say, Andy Serkis never lets you down (and Snoke wasn't his fault in TFA either). When I first heard that warner brothers was developing a Mogli movie I was just like everyone else. I was like, "Wait, what? Another one? Why?" Though, once I leared that Andy Serkis was hired as the director I knew I'd be in for a treat.
It's a real shame this film was snubbed from the theatrical release, because this team really did put in their all. Of course the predictions that the audience may not have been ready for another "Jungle Book" story set the odds against the box office, but they really should have left that opinion to the audience and stiod their ground.
This magnificent picture was nothing less than a masterpiece of art. I mean everything was handled deligently from the direction of the story, to the lead cast played wonderfully , the unique realism and use of the face motion cgi, and even the score.
There isn't nothing, and I mean nothing that I didn't like or enjoy about this film, and for that, I give my hat to Andy Serkis and his team for giving us such a remarkable film to remember.
