Review of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (2018) by Jay P — 05 Jan 2019

This is a much truer telling than any prior version. Unlike the criticisms here, if you are true fan of the Jungle Book, as I was as a Cub and Scout, which was lore for us, this is the story we were told until Disney pussified it.

It is not overly long, nor the violence inconsistent with the story. I don't understand the accusations of bad pacing, as it was again in service of the story and done well if you actually understand the original story.

This was the telling I was waiting for. Screw Disneyfication of our lore and legends.
