Review of Mr. Bug Goes to Town (1941) by Kate G — 04 Sep 2009
One of the first feature-length animated films. A group of bugs lose their home when human construction starts to take place in the run-down block they live on. Another bug tries to deceive them so he can marry the prettiest bug.
Well done, in fact, better than most modern day animation in terms of script and comedic elements.
