Review of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939) by Andrew B — 13 May 2014
Worthwhile story that lacks engagement and identifiable character development (especially in relation to Capra's other films). Jimmy Stewart shines as always (especially at the end), but it dragged so much that I felt the same fatigue that Mr.
Smith did right before he fainted.
