Review of Mulholland Falls (1996) by Caleb M — 29 Sep 2007
While it captures a great noir feel of mid-20th Century America, you can't help but laugh at the actor's attempts to imitate the contemptuous masculinity of Walter Neff or the audacious speech of Lynn Bracken.
The actors all fall short of speaking any respectable line of dialogue, so much so that the much expected death near the end of the film gets nothing more from me than a smirk, and a thought running through my head that said: "Serves you right.
