Review of Mulligans (2008) by Robb T — 27 Mar 2016
Except for the posh upper middle class life style of this family, I loved this film. It's a sensitive look at a gay male character turning up in the center of their summer get away and turning their world up side down.
It may not be the "greatest" film ever made, but its message is skillfully brought out and the resolution ambiguous enough to be realistic. Compared to earlier gay themed films, which used to be horrible, this one is excellent.
Every character in the story is profoundly affected by the outcome and everyone comes out a better human being. Bravo!
