Kenneth Branagh has done a superb job with this film as well as the starring character. Not for everyone, especially since this is an old crime tale and most viewers have long since been desensitized by much worse and severe crime tales.
Nonetheless, Kenneth knows his material well and gives the spotlight moment to each of the great members of the supporting cast. A very enjoyable and thought-provoking experience.
