Review of Mute (2018) by Joe G — 18 Jun 2018
I really enjoyed it. I can see how some people may not like it, but I can't see why the score is this bad. It was a good move and visually amazing. It really drives home the feeling of a world in transition that well on its way to becoming the Dystopian Cyberpunk world of the games and films that we grew up on.
I think that is unique. Most movies just throw you in to a particular setting. **SPOILER ALERT** even the easter eggs from moon show reinforce this transition where businesses have enough control to perform the corrupt actions of the movie moon, but there's still enough semblance of government control where they can still be legally dealt with.
