I'll admit I had only watched the Evil Dead trilogy before watching this. Considering I didn't know very much on Bruce Campbell, I quite enjoyed 'My Name Is Bruce'. I've watched it quite a few times because there are plenty of references to previous Campbell films; from simple one liners, to obvious yet clever cameos.
While it does have some rather funny moments, it's not suppose to be taken as a serious film. This to me, makes it a more humorous film than it seems. Although some scenes are better than others, this is one film that should be given a try for horror-comedy and especially Bruce Campbell fans.
