I like Bruce. I stuck by the film through the first ten minutes, when he unknowingly drinks a bottle of urine. I hung in there in the face of some terrible acting. I made it up to about the 30-minute mark, when we see a guy in yellowface making Engrish jokes. Yikes.
"Galaxy Quest" already did the same film, and did it better. "Black Dynamite" absolutely nailed the tone that a film like this needs to have. The "Evil Dead" films already had as much fun as you can have with this kind of movie.
"My Name is Bruce" is a failure on all fronts.
