Review of My Name Is Bruce (2007) by L C — 22 Feb 2009
I have to say, this movie ahd SO MUCH potential, but it just didn't quite match up. The problems were simple: terrible actors, generally poor screen writing. This could have been easily remedied by simply finding better young actors because really the only MAJOR acting complaints for me were the awful teen actors.
I mean come on, Haley Joe Osment hasn't been doing anything, get him at least? Bruce Campbell was more than satisfying as usual, and it has decent production value, some hilarious jokes and running gags, a very hot MILF and a very catchy theme song.
BUT this movie truly could have been a B movie that exceeded expectations, instead it didn't meet the expectations.
