Review of Nanook of the North (1922) by Jens T — 24 Jun 2011
Robert J. Flaherty's Nanook of the North is stated to be the first documentary ever made, if you don't count the endeless rage of short footage of trains running through. In Nanook of the North we follow an eskimo family durring the hard cold winter.
We get to see how they live and hunt, how they are able to catch a two ton walrus. It's trulley an interresting piece of filmmaking. Thumbs up.
