There was a time when a movie was made with a purpose (usually anti-pop culture) and through the process of some strange evolution, became a "cult classic." But now movies are being packaged and produced as cult classics ready for consumption, and by MTV, no less.
Something about this movie says that while the fimmakers didn't know how to be funny, they sure knew how to be weird, and that would suffice.
