Review of Nerve (2016) by Joecool — 19 May 2020
This movie will probably fare better with twelve year olds than it will with adults. The story is flimsy, things just seem to happen and somehow, by some small miracle, work out. The dares are sometimes nice to watch.
You'd expect more people to get killed trying dumb crap like this. The acting is okay, for a teen movie of course. In the beginning it manages to engage the viewer, but in the end it just can't deliver in any sort of meaningful way.
