Review of Never Say Never Again (1983) by Jeffrey R — 27 Dec 2017
A very fun return for Connery and Bond fans. A remake of Thunderball but with enough charm to stand on its own 2 feet.
Connery is on the charm offensive here and is a welcome return taking him into his 3rd decade playing Bond.
Famously directed by Irvin(Empire Strikes Back) Kershner.
Gadgets 3/5 Kept to a minimum and a return to form for Bond after the wayward Moore movies.
Girls 5/5 Kim Basinger is drop dead gorgeous and.
Barbara Carrera.
As Fatima Blush, the sexy assassin is on top form.
Villain 3/5 Blush steals the show.
Bond Theme 1/5 another forgettable one written after a remark made by Connery on returning to the role again.
