Newness isn't for everybody. Definitely not a first date rom-com! But, for anyone who has waded through the mire of online dating and spent any amount of time just trying to make a connection, this will hit home.
These characters are scary relatable, both as aspects of myself and people I have met who are also stumbling through Tinder on Friday night. It's exciting, gritty and relatably cringy. It reinforced hard fought realizations and then slowly deconstructed them to show the original foundations again.
Really superb acting and writing, very well executed. The weird voyeur camera angles were overdone a bit, but honestly it fits this movie.
