Review of No Good Deed (2014) by Jim222001 — 13 Apr 2015
To get the point across about how bad the Idris Elba character is; the news broadcaster in the beginning goes on and on about how many horrible things he has done. So we know everytime someone is on screen with him they're in danger.
The movie is bland and badly written. And for someone who is supposed to have so much charisma that he is up for the next James Bond. Elba is pretty one dimensional here. I haven't been terribly impressed by him yet honestly.
And the movie is so bad that the weather seems to be on Elba's side. Like it thunders and rains harder when he gets ready to leave his obvious hostages house so she can say "come in." Or when her friend asks him too many questions about where he is from. Time for a tree branch to come through the kitchen window.
