(Mauro Lanari).

Like a full glass of water: overflowing but tasteless, colorless, odorless. It flows away very well precisely because it leaves no traces, memories, emotions. Nor one could hoped otherwise: the choice of Craig as the new Bond was a voluntary rip from tradition and old school action movie, when the irony acted as a Brechtian estrangement against the exaggerations of the stuntmen, and it was an irony coming even earlier from the faces of the protagonists (I am not referring only to Connery but also to Willis, Schwarzy, etc.) than from the lines invented by the screenwriters. Perhaps anthropologists will be able to explain to us this paradigmatic change that took place with the turn of the millennium: the hero/heroine, a long list of imaginary, fictional or cartoon characters, takes him/herself more and more seriously, the Craig, Neeson, Reeves, Theron, the X- Men and the protagonists of the MCU evince an unlikely process of humanization with increasing frequency, assuming neorealistic connotations as if they were a test for an increasingly immersive virtual reality. Could I have made better use of 2 hours and 43 minutes of my life? I would have liked to have tried, but by now the implosive cultural trend has been established taking root everywhere.
