Review of Non-Stop (2014) by Carlos M — 17 Dec 2016
Non-Stop is about an air marshal named Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) who has had a rather troubling past and isn't having a very lucky time being an air marshal, and his next flight makes things considerably worse.
While starting to relax he get's a message on his phone informing him that there is a bomb on the plane and this person is planning to set it off if he does not do exactly as this person says. This movie has rather well developed characters, such as a passenger who get's close to Bill named Jen Summers (Julianne Moore), and a hostess named Nancy (Michelle Dockery).
This movie is great at not only creating suspense but also being able to keep you completely blind about who this culprit could possibly be. The performances in this movie aren't anything spectacular, but they are still very good acting performances non the less, and Liam Neeson always manages to keep that crazy angry guy act nailed down.
I thought this movie was a very good take on a rather cliché story-line but still kind of stuck to those tropes enjoyably. It is a very well emotionally developed movie as well and certainly knows how to portray characters very well.
All an all a very fun enjoyable action suspense movie. Definitely a worth while watch.
