Review of Now You See Me 2 (2016) by Donnietrump — 03 Feb 2021
For some reason I really hated the first movie, but the second one is actually quite owkey. It's a brainless popcorn flick about magic and robbery and that is what you can expect. Actors such as Morgan Freeman and Mark Ruffalo have taken a seat back and perform their best B-movie acting you can imagine.
Even Jesse Eisenberg didn't annoy me. Only the 'in your face' attitude of Lizzy Caplan's character felt somewhat exaggerated.
