Ocean's Twelve is inferior to its predecessor. A simple sentence but I don't disagree with the general consensus. The movie is still stylish and funny. The sweet jazz will be stuck in your head for a day or two and the cast has good chemistry with one another.

Yet there are so many plot points it's hard to keep track of what's happening half the time. The heists weren't as fun as the ones from Eleven and I wasn't as hopeful that they'd succeed as with the first film.

There's also that whole Tess Ocean/Julia Roberts thing. While it allows for some funny moments, it's also kind of lazy and raises eyebrows. Do George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon exist in this universe? Is there a regular guy who looks like Bruce Willis? This meta crap hurts my brain.

Ocean's Twelve is nowhere near as good as the first film and not as exciting but it still has enough of Steven Soderbergh's trademark style to make it a "So Okay, it's Average" movie.
