Review of O.J.: Made in America (2016) by Isaac C — 06 Feb 2017
Simply amazing. One of the best documentaries I have ever watched. I have a different view on O.J. now. Very Shocking that the black community stood behind a man who wanted nothing to do with them. He didnt support black people before the Nicole Simpson murder.
It was after the verdict that he started to be a part of the black community because the white community turned against him hard. The verdict changed all that. Blacks wanted him innocent and whites wanted him guilty.
In my opinion this man was guilty of the murders. Main reason he was found not guilty of the murders was because the jury felt this was a chance for payback due to how blacks were treated in Los Angeles at the time.
From Rodney King to the young black girl who was shot in back of the head by a Korean lady. As we know the cops were acquitted in the Rodney King beating and the Korean lady only received 5 years probation.
On top of that most of the jury was black. So the verdict was more about retribution for blacks rather then him actually being innocent. If you are sensitive to racial slurs and graphic images of dead bodies which is highly disturbing, this doc is not for you.
