Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Jeff B — 02 Aug 2011
I've only seen this once before and that was several years ago (around when I was just getting into really appreciating film) so it was nice checking it out again. It deserves the praise it always gets, an extremely well made film with brilliant performances all aroudn.
It's got a great set up and doesn't stop being intriguing. Of course the taxi scene and the final scene are brilliant, but I also loved the part with Karl Malden after those bricks and crates fell on that guy.
I guess I forgot how amazing this movie is.
