A truly awful and horrendously long film. People murdered each other in gruesome ways, people explained to each other that prohibition was ending (they would have known!) and the use of music to set the mood was heavy-handed in the extreme.
Some of the sets were good, but in a film that lasts nearly 4 hours that isn't enough.
