Review of Once Upon a Time in Anatolia (2011) by Andrejs P — 30 Sep 2012
This will probably go down as being a classic. There is a lot more going on in the film then just a police investigation. In fact I would say its less about a police investigation and more about people discussing life.
Something as seemingly insignificant as the camera panning to a womans heel has, in fact, significant meaning. You're like why are they panning to a womans heel, then you suddenly realize why. Yeah, its one of those kinds of movies. Fantastic scenes of the Turkish countryside also doesnt hurt things.
