The movie "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" by Milos Forman from 1975 deserves 3 out of 5 stars because of the actors, the director, and the how closely it followed the book.

The actors, played a pretty good from the time frame that was made in. The actors that they chose really did the characters justice from the book, but the script writers left a lot of the book out in the movie. It was very confusing trying to put the parts of the books and the movie together and how the characters matched up to the actors playing the characters in the movie. I thought that the Director Milos Forman did a good job selecting the actors to play the parts but horrible scripted writers. I know that the movie needed to be around two hours long but there is a lot of the parts that are good that were left out and changed. Lets go to the part where the fishing trip accord. The scripted writers thought it was they stole the bus but in the book the doctor and another person went with along on the trip. There is a lot of parts that I could mention but I would recommend reading the book and see for yourself. It didn't follow the book really closely events that were key in the book and there left out of the book. If you were wanting to watch a classic move and you have time to waist I would recommend watching the movie, but I would read the book first then watch the movies so you can see the missed events that were in a book.
