Review of Ouija (2014) by Kilo D — 08 Nov 2014
How many painkillers will a viewer need to take in order not to shut this hilariously poor teen movie with a supernatural element off? Presumably as many as one would need to take in order to read the dialogue in this script with a straight face.
In other words, don't be another statistic, just say no to "Ouija"--it does not matter if the date has the power of Emma Stone's big eyes and they're begging and begging. This is not movie making, "Ouija" is another in a string of let's-see-how-bad-we-can-degrade-horror-fans-and-their-Halloween experience and nothing more than a product placement as a movie.
Stay home, watch "The Sopranos", for there's a good episode that features a cameo of a ouija board with much, much more to offer, including frights (even if it's only Edie Falco's scream).
