It was fun. Way more fun than a sequel like that had any rights to be. It had some good scares that defied my expectations and a story that was just engaging enough. It's a shame that it's so lacking in any themes and doesn't provoke any particular thoughts.
Still, it's infinitely better than a lot of modern horror movies.
