The critics are so full of themselves, you can't trust them to give movies accurate reviews these days. I haven't seen the original, so I wasn't constantly comparing this to the original, I was seeing this fresh.
.. and it was hilarious. The whole theater was laughing out loud frequently throughout the movie, and despite the predictability credits are knocking on here, seeing where things were doing didn't at all diminish the journey getting there.
If you're looking for a fun time, definitely give this movie a watch. Don't believe me, see other audience reviews--77% of people seem to like it as of posting this, it's just the critics who are being sticks in the mud.
