Review of Paranormal Activity (2007) by Cptn A — 24 Nov 2018
I don't know why people consider this one of the scariest movies in recent history. It's not scary, the most you can call it is suspenseful. I feel like once you get on track and find out whats going on, all there is to look forward to are the night time scenes.
The rest of the movie becomes filler and you just want to fast forward to the next night time scene. The movie is a very slow burn, and as clueless as you came in to watch the movie, that is how clueless you'll be when you are done watching the movie, maybe even more.
On the plus side, a movie with minimal to no jump scares is an awesome horror movie.
