Yes, Parasite was well crafted and uniquely entertaining; but an earth-shattering masterpiece? Come on. It was a comically cliche portrayal of class division served up with a big, heaping scoop of shock-value.
I enjoyed the ride, but it’s not the magnum opus it’s billed to be.
