It could have been a great movie ... I can only find an interesting first act while Chris Pratt's character was completely isolated, a good score (sometimes misused) and beautifully-shot scenes. Jennifer Lawrence is good, but her character isn't as layered as Pratt's, who carries the entire film.
Passengers has a lot of build-up scenes that just don't build up to anything. The story dives into a slow-burn in the second act and a very rushed ending ruins its chance to actually succeed in having a final tense and emotional moment.
