It was predictable, safe, cliché, some of the special effects weren't particularly good and most of the attempts at being funny fell flat and the movie felt a little rushed, but it was still enjoyable.
The acting was generally good, the movie was entertaining and interesting and it wasn't too long. It's not the greatest fantasy movie for kids, but it's not that bad either.
