Phantom Thread is another dull, boring Oscar bait and a great example of why Daniel Day-Lewis retiring is a brilliant decision. Aesthetically pleasant but completely devoid of emotion, it's hard to connect and take anything in this movie seriously.
The only truly good aspect of it all was the beautiful gowns and that's the reason I handled watching it till the end.
