A stoner film that barely has any direction of where it wants to go. "Pineapple Express" might offer a few laughs and an lovable performance by James Franco, but the jokes fall flat after an hour into plot since every scene almost leads to nowhere.
Think of this as an SNL special made only for weed users. That's how dull this film can be. Definitely not Seth Rogen's best work.
