Review of Pineapple Express (2008) by Miriam S — 20 May 2012
Though it is pretty funny and downright hilarious at points, I didn't enjoy this one nearly as much as the others in the Apatow group (mainly the 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, and Superbad). It attempted to merge comedy and action into one super movie.
It succeeds at points, but for the most part, it just ends up being a bit subpar on both levels. Still...it's good for a nice laugh.
