Dig the mermaid scene. Again a fun time if you're in love with good ol' Jack like I am, but seems to follow a fragmented checklist of things that haven't been done before rather than committing to a fresh and full tale.
Worst of all, Jack has virtually no arc at all, though a few interesting themes are explored somewhat.
