Review of Play It to the Bone (1999) by Jeffrey K — 28 Dec 2007
If you have boxed at the lower end of the pro game you get this movie. great characters which inhabit the sport at every level from the fighters who think there being called in because there still names to the promoters who just want two bodies and four fists.
Two fighters travling togeter is not as far featched as it seems but feels a bit forced between Vince and Cesar. The fight it self gets across the feelings felt in a match but the fighters look to at home during the early stages of the fight considering they only got less than 24hrs notice and they spent the trip in a car but thats just me being over critical.
