The thrilling action scenes are great but it isn't a straight-up kung fu film as you might expect. It's still a fun action film nonetheless. There are a few pretty funny moments but the comedy is pretty cheesy although not nearly as cheesy as the worst of the era or genre.
The story is also surprisingly well-written and ties the film together nicely. Overall, Project A is an entertaining action film with lots of great moments even though it's not necessarily one of the best.
