Review of Quiz Show (1994) by James M — 23 Mar 2010
While it fails to answer the $50,000 question of "Who cares?", Quiz Show is very well directed and acted. Robert Redford recreates the period with style and finesse, helped no-less by a Paul Attanasio script which features some witty one-liners and touching dialogue between Ralph Fiennes and Paul Scofield as father and son. John Turturro's performance standsout, while Rob Morrow's performance is flawed only for a poor Boston accent.
Certainly one of the five best films of 1994.
