Review of R-Point (2004) by Jason J — 12 Sep 2009
R-Point has been pretty unfairly treated in my opinion. It's actually more Picnic at Hanging Rock than Ringu if you ask me. It also raises some political issues, like what the hell the Koreans were doing in Vietnam in the first place.
The build-up is creepy enough, with the mystery of the tenth unitmember and all, but ultimately director Kong fails to deliver a satisfying conclusion. Still good though.
