While nowhere near as innovative or inventive as "Wreck-It Ralph," "Ralph Breaks the Internet" does feature some clever scenes, and the theme of finding your own path is a welcome one.
Unfortunately, the predictable way in which the story unfolds leaves little to the imagination, and even the Disney princesses can't rescue the story from falling into a bit of a snoozefest. The joy of the original was unique and interesting visuals of the different video game locations.
Here, despite being in the *Internet*, the look is not that far removed from the worst movie of last year: The Emoji Movie. This movie could have been so much more instead of "meh.".
