Recently, I was on an extremely long flight and didn't really have much to watch on my downloaded list on Netflix, so when I saw Rampage on the "Entertainment" list, I decided to take a chance.
The special effects were quite cheesy, the story was beyond ridiculous, and the villain's were basic and boring -- but honestly, I had so much fun while watching. It's wildly entertaining, it gets you surprisingly invested in its characters, and included an always great performance by Dwayne Johnson.
It's not an intelligent movie, but it embraces its craziness to its advantage and creates one heck of a ride for the audience.
