Was expecting an overly CGI monstrosity attempting to sell our childhood to us. Wasn't even too interested, but a friend wanted to see it.
Absolutely blew me away. The absolutely PERFECT amount of pacing of all the references resulted in an endless barrage of nostalgia on top of a good original story. Inspired me to go and pick up the book as well, both were incredible!
