Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Aaron B — 12 May 2018
Just utterly speechless how he could ruin an amazing story. The effects are amazing I don't doubt that he created his own version of the book, but it was completely void of any real emotion. It left a bad taste almost Dragonball Evolution or The Last Airbender bad.
My only conclusion is that Spielberg was a sixer sympathizer the whole time, but then again in the first chapter he does say "Dozens of books, cartoons, movies, and miniseries have attempted to tell the story of everything that happened next, but every single one of them got it wrong".
So maybe this whole movie was a fun Easter egg to the book from Spielberg who knows.
