Review of Red Lights (2012) by Matt C — 28 Nov 2018
A fairly dreadful follow-up from the Director Cortes to the really good 'Buried' he made a few years back. The first half of the film is quite interesting with Weaver and Murphy working together to debunk supernatural and psychic practitioners.
The second half after +++ SPOILERS +++ Weaver's sudden exit is all over the place. Not sure if it wants to be 'The X Files' or some M. Night Shyamalan rip-off (the twist is eye rolling-ly bad) it descends into noise and annoyance.
Another mortgage payment for De Niro in the bank at least.
